Miðnætur sól

Miðnætur sól translates to midnight sun in English.

I got permission to paint this from a photo I saw on social media posted from a friend, of the mare with her foal around midnight, but during mid summer we have daylight around the clock but get beautiful colors in the sky when the sun is low on the horizon.
