Fall came early this year in Iceland. This scenery is very typical for the landscape here and of course, those are Icelandic horses. Acrylic on canvas.
I came across a photo from an Icelandic photographer, Gígja Einarsdóttir, and asked her for permission to use it as a reference.
Here I used artistic license and changed the scene somewhat.
