Sometimes when I am asked for commission painting, I paint more than one of the same subject, just in a completely different setting or aspect, so there is a choice for the buyer, but also certain freedom for me.
This was painted with my farming days in South Iceland in mind, in the distance are Hekla Volcano and the view I had from my farm.
