Móra and Mjöll

I named this painting Móra and Mjöll, but we often name the animals based on their color.
Icelandic sheep without horns were never my favorite when I was a farmer….until at the very end of my farming days when I bought a few without horns from a highly respected breeder.
They are actually so cute and look quite different than the ones with the horns, yet the same breed, and I came to like them before I quit farming.
This painting has multiple layers and a thick texture which gives it amazing depth.
