What an honor to be asked to paint someone’s favorite horse.
For this, I got a video and a few photos as references. In the video I noticed how Spænir tilted his head when he was slowing down, showing his character. This is what I wanted to capture here where he comes in tölt, one of five gaits the Icelandic horses have.
