Eldborg Crater
Painting of Eldborg Crater which stands out in the large lava field around it.
It was truly a privilege to be asked to paint this scene.
Eldborg is not far from where I live and I am quite familiar with the surroundings.
When I was 17 years old, in the 19th century, I trained young horses on a farm nearby and often rode them into the lava field from Eldborg, which came in handy as I had to use artistic license to create the landscape in the foreground
