Gerðuberg basalt columns in Snæfellsnes Peninsula, are a beautiful row of rock formations which used to be ocean cliffs. The painting has a lot of texture.
Painted on a linen canvas, primed with clear gesso so the raw canvas can be seen.
This painting has thick texture of oil paint, I used the palette knife quite a lot.
