Hafnarfjall and Brákarsund

This is a rather iconic scene for those who visit Borgarnes during the summer. Hafnarfjall and the boat by Brákarsund.
Living in Borgarnes, we often walk around the old town on a path by the ocean, which is around the narrow peninsula (nes in Icelandic).
Close by our house is this scenery, and in the summer, the little boat, Ellan, is bobbing on the water by the bridge over Brákarsund. I have taken several photos of this, but this is my first painting using them as a reference.
