This is scenery from South East Iceland, considered highlands or wilderness. The region is characterized by its vibrant and unusual colors and varied geological formations. These mostly date from a period between 5 to 7 million years ago, when the volcano Kollumúli was active.
I used artistic license to be able to add the person into the painting as requested. She is on top of Illikambur, overlooking Kollumúli and the surrounding area.
