Mt. Súlur in Stöðvarfjörður
60 x 100cm, oil painting of Mt. Súlur in Stöðvarfjörður. The various references I got, inspired me to paint a sunlit, stormy sky and a bit of a rough ocean.
Using some artistic license, I added the boats to add some interest to the painting.
There is quite a thick texture in the water, as it was painted with the palette knife.
