Somewhere in Snæfellsnes #1
I was commissioned by a new accounting office in Stykkishólmur in Snæfellsnes Peninsula to paint two large landscape paintings for their office. Bókhaldsstofa Vesturlands
I call them ‘Somewhere in Snæfellsnes’ because I didn’t use any reference photos, just made some landscapes as I see them in my mind from the area. Those who know Snæfellsnes would recognize that it would rather be on the northern peninsula. One thing is certain: there will be lava, moss, craters, fog, and mountains.
