Ásta and Tommi

A portrait of the couple Ásta and Tommi in loving memory of Tommi who is passed away. Acrylics on canvas.
It can be quite challenging to paint portraits, let alone two in one painting.
The key is to have a reasonably good reference photo, which I did not have in this case. It wasn’t until I got a different photo of Ásta, that she finally appeared on the canvas.
I keep true to my loose style, with as little detail as possible, yet clear who the persons are.
