Michelle Visage

I love watching Ru Paul’s Drag-race. Ru Paul has already been a subject of mine for portraits and one day while scrolling through Instagram, I saw a photo of Michelle Visage without any makeup, all natural. I fell in love with the photo and decided to make an attempt to capture her natural beauty.

For this painting I actually painted over another portrait I started while on vacation in Tenerife, but never managed to finish.

I also participated in a monthly art challenge in the Bold School, using split complimentary palette.
