Grábrók Crater
Grábrók crater is by the very small town of Bifröst in Iceland. I kept it loose in the foreground, aimed for the illusion of detail.
We sometimes stay in a cabin in this area. There are many very nice hiking trails through the lava field, which is mostly covered with green moss. The craters have the dominating magenta and purple colors while the lava rocks in the field are a bit darker. I used the palette knife a lot in the foreground to create the texture.
