Úrsúla

The northern Gannets are such amazing birds. In Icelandic, they are called Súla. We have a woman’s name here, Úrsula, which I found both amusing and suitable for naming the painting.

It was a bit challenging to paint a northern gannet, but painting birds is one of my favorite subjects to paint.
